Goals
1.to develop and establish an Ubuntu-based Linux distribution (scubuntu), for use by scientists, thereby enabling scientific computing on Linux.
2.to develop scubuntu as a true Ubuntu sub-project with all work released as OSS.
3.to develop an active and contributing community that makes the project self-sustaining.
4.to build critical mass OSS R&D capability in the CSIR.
